Most courses ease you into your round. Not The Woods. Our opening hole is a demanding par 4. The tee shot is played through a chute of giant oak trees. A well placed drive avoids the fairway bunker that guards the left side of the landing area. A mid to long iron is played to a severely sloping green that is guarded by a bunker on the left, and a steep drop off behind the green. The back to front slope of the green will test the best of putters. Par is a great way to start your round. |
