Our first par five can be everything from an easy birdie chance to a difficult par save. The wind is the key. When downwind, the tee shot can reach the top of the plateau and give you a real chance to go for the green in two. Into the wind, tee shots rarely make it up the hill, leaving a blind second shot. Beware of the pond guarding the left side of the hole from 200 to 150 yards from the green. A penalizing bush guards the front right side of the small table top green. Any approach shot that misses the green will kick well away from the putting surface and leave a difficult pitch shot. |
